Do you believe if you’re not a manager/senior role by the time/in your 30s, you’ve not done it right? It seems to be incredibly common for people to be in these roles by/in this age bracket. I’m finding it incredibly hard to get there or gain some experience to as it’s not what you know but who you know

I guess it depends on your field but not everyone 30+ can be in a managerial position, companies would be far too top heavy

Not everyone wants to be a manager or in a senior role. My sister is a teacher and could go higher if she wanted but she just wants to do what she already does. She’s 37. I’m 30 and I’m happy with what I’m doing. I earn ok money for right now and when I want to progress I might do. I’m not really in a profession where you have the typical manager/senior role so it would mean changing jobs for me. I think pay and enjoyment are more important than seniority.

You would think that but absolutely not. The company I work for the minute you become manager you have to do longer hours which you don’t get overtime for. Added stress. I personally don’t think I could handle it. I’m already stressed now just as long I’m on a salary that i think I deserve I’d rather just be a regular employee
