I love it!

George is boy name in Romania

I think it's cute but just be aware of your girlies future. My mom's name is Jerry after her dad and she hated it so much she changed it to Jeri

I just think boy but as long as you like it that’s all that matters

Absolutely! My daughter is called Georgia, after my grandfather but we normally call her George or Georgie x

I’m a Georgina but everyone calls me George anyway! Could always call her Georgie officially but have George as her preferred name x

I’d probably change it to Georgie or Georgia myself if was considering it. I do like older names though!

Not my favorite but as long as you like it. I will say I like Georgie as a nick name for Georgina

Georgie or Georgia for a girl. George is a no for me

All my family wanted me to call my girl George, bc I’m called Georgie after my granddad George. If I wasn’t so set on her name already I was going to. I love it for a girl. I don’t think she will be picked on for it. There is a child near where I live called Pond so I don’t think George would suffer bc of her name xx

I personally prefer Georgie, more feminine to me. I wanted to name my baby this after my grandpa but my husband couldn’t get on board 😅

I think it somewhat depends on where you live ~ here in the US, she may get picked on unless her full name is Georgie/Georgia/Georgina and use George as a nickname. Unfortunately kids can be mean. I had a girl friend named Tyler and she was constantly picked on when we were kids for having a “boy name” 😓
I think George is a cute name for anyone, but personally I take into account what my kiddo would experience.

Love it

No

I think it's cute. But I would put Georgia or Georgina on the birth certificate and call her George (so it's less weird).

Save it for a boy or maybe Georgia

The generation of kids we’re seeing at school now (I’m an elementary teacher in the US) are a lot more tolerant toward unique names and are just a lot kinder in general than our generation. I can only imagine by the time your girl gets to school age it is unlikely to be a problem!

What about Georgie? More girly for when she’s older 🥰

Georgie yes but not George

I like George/Georgie as a nickname.
