Dichorionic Diamniotic movements at 26+4.

I’m pregnant with Dichorionic Diamniotic twins. Normally I feel twin 1 the most, she’s super kicky!! But today I can feel twin 2 far more than normal & haven’t really felt twin 1 atall. This is so different to normal. I’ve been particularly anxious the last week or so - hormones I assume & now I’m worried but don’t know if I should be?! I’m aware they can move & sleep etc but to the complete opposite side of my body as Dichorionic Diamniotic twins would be impressive!

I had DiDi twins and I'm also an OB nurse. At that gestation they are still pretty small and they have plenty of room to do somersaults. So it is completely possible to feel more movement in places you hadn't before and less in your usual spots. I had a terrible time trying to differentiate my twins' movements. I honestly felt like as they got larger, I could not usually reliably say who was who. If you sit/lay somewhere quiet where you can focus on your belly and you try to count both babies movements for an hour or 2 and you are still in doubt that both are moving well (we say 4-5 movements from each baby in 1hr is normal) then I would go in to the hospital and have them take a look. They will be able to monitor both babies and confirm for you. **this is not medical advice but my personal experience, please always trust your instinct or call your doctor if you have any concerns**
