Does anyone have any ideas of things to do in London with a 18 week old? I wasn’t expecting to spend my summer mat leave with this rainy weather 😅
Could be classes / exhibitions / places - anything! 😂 even better if there was anything in SE London too 🤞❤️
BTW anything that’s good for adults but baby / pram friendly too please shout! Xx

Swimming, sensory and baby massage classes are all great for your baby.

Hey honey my little girl loved horniman aquarium when she was really young it’s small but for £5 u can’t go wrong x

Baby cinema is great if you have a young baby as they will sleep through it!

My little boy loved the London Aquarium so much so that we are going to get merlin passes

Hartbeeps baby sensory classes are good (various locations across south London)
Waterbabies run baby swimming classes

Have a look at what your local children’s centre is offering, they usually do stay and plays and similar things like baby massage, sensory etc. it’s also typically free which is a bonus.

ah that’s such a good idea! I haven’t been since I was a kid too!!

ooo I tried it a few weeks ago at Everyman cinema was actually so relaxing - free coffee and cookie dough too ❤️

defo gonna do the aquarium then this would be good when he’s a bit more older! Is the zoo part of it? x

This a lovely place. I had great fun at the choir on my maternity leave. Some things stop for summer though.
Local libraries do rhyme time sessions.
Tots play Bexley do some summer baby sessions.

Baby cinema, Horniman aquarium, we loved Baby Sensory classes too, and swimming lessons, we did baby massage for free through the Lewisham children’s centres, and they have messy play which is probably good from this age up too

The Young V&A is also great and free but probably better from 6 months plus. I also just went to museums and stuff with my little one in the carrier or buggy, like the Tate Modern, museum of the home etc, all have bits that are easy for feeding, showing the baby some interesting sensory bits etc

@Jemma we took my little boy when he was around 18 weeks and he was obsessed so your little one might like it now. There is no zoo attached though

good to know they’re buggy friendly! Wanted to go to the Van Gough immersive exhibit but it’s not suitable for prams xx

ooo we’re actually in a lewisham so this would be perfect hope they still do the classes

Took my little boy when he was 3 months to London Aquarium on South Bank and it was good. I got my tickets online they do discounts think I paid about £22 for two adults and baby went free x

ahh yes I went there when I was very pregnant. It’s great but definitely not buggy friendly
