Is 6oz too much for a 7 week old?

My 7 week old baby currently has 5oz of Formula but the last few days she has been non stop screaming until she gets more and she’ll take the extra bottle and won’t spit up or anything. I know they go through a growth spurt at this point and can eat more than usual and to feed on demand but my HV advised not to exceed the 5oz? She’s literally screaming for a bottle every 2 hours and then once she’s had the 5oz she whines until she gets more.

Can someone please give advice on what they would do in the situation cause I am so exhausted and emotional.

Not at all mine started eating between 5-6oz at around 4-5 weeks old i hate when people say not to feed your baby when they are still hungry just know you can’t over feed my boy is 3 months and I’ve always fed on demand there’s times he will eat 9oz at once and he is such a happy baby he started eating 4oz at a week old his drs say he’s in the 95% he’s chunky and growing very quickly so he eats more than other babies you’re doing great momma i would listen to your baby💘

you could try to burp after a couple ounces and see if that helps. my girl will eat and eat and whine for more but i burp her and she’s content

Some babies have faster metabolisms. My 1st was like this. I combi fed for 3m then switched to formula but he was on 6-7oz at 3mnths but this was every 2 hours on the dot until I switched to hungry baby milk when fully on formula. I’d always do a bigger bottle than they usually take so it’s there if they want it. It may take a break inbetween and then they want more but I wouldn’t not give it to them if they are showing signs for more xx

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?
