I'm 11weeks and I crave ramen almost daily..

I love ramen and I always feel sooo guilty after eating it.. I try to eat tons of healthy things to give my baby nutrients.. I still feel guilty.. Is it bad to eat things like ramen and kaft Mac and cheese while pregnant? Again I try to eat healthy apart from that. 😭

Honestly my doctor kept it 100. As long as I’m happy and baby is happy and I’m not eating Raw things or ultra spicy stuff etc then there’s no need to push yourself for anything else. I had ramen cravings and felt the same way. Cravings come and go enjoy them mama and eat the ramen you want

Eat the ramen and mac & cheese! Also been big cravings for me this pregnancy. As long as it’s not literally every meal and you’re still working to get in protein + veggies/fruit it’s completely fine to indulge

This was literally me. I ate Mac and cheese and ramen almost daily for my whole pregnancy bc everything else made me sick. I just gave birth to a very healthy 9 pound baby. Your baby will be totally fine.

I ate both when I was pregnant both times. Don’t feel pressured to avoid certain foods unless it’s medically necessary (like gestational diabetes). You should be able to eat whatever you want, most people just recommend consuming in moderation to ensure you’re getting the right nutrients

I was obsessed with ramen, then it was scrambled eggs, then it was cows milk (🤢). I did it though bc baby was wanting something from them!

There was about 6 weeks where I couldn’t stomach meat from the most intense food aversions and so my husband and I are ramen noodles, buttered pasta and pizza mostly and lots of fruit too but we just do what we can girl I knew I needed to eat something and it was all I could stomach so my doctor told me to just eat what I could because she’d rather me eat than not and I got some fruit and some very minimal veggies where I could

I know for both my pregnancy’s healthy switches weren’t an option until about 20 weeks but if you can, you could try switching to healthier versions/ingredients. And adding in other nutrients (bone broth, onion, spinach, egg, protein etc.)

I’ve really liked this ramen - Check out this product on Thrive Market: https://thrivemarket.com/mikes-mighty-good-chicken-ramen-soup-cup

But also to add to that, I think mooooost doctors would agree that you just need to feed yourself and the baby. If ramen and Mac is the only thing that seems good, eat it. My first is made completely from ice cream šŸ˜‚

Ramen was definitely on this list the real kind though . I have been eating packs of it you make at home lol

I craved ramen often during my pregnancy but never gave in. Instead I found healthy alternatives that would curb the craving. One of my favorites was chicken Singapore Mei fun. It’s basically chicken, Mei fun noodles, vegetables, and curry paste.
