Has anyone used this, was it any good and would it work on a next to me cot?

Yes and yes. My baby loved it and helped him soothe during the night if he woke up.
I have one and worked well for the first 2 months. After that my baby is too interested in the world around her and doesn't care how nicely the pram was being rocked. 🙈😅😂 We didn't use it on her cot but we have friends who have used it on their next to me and found it useful.
