Has he been assessed for tongue tie? That can cause real gas problems - it did for my son. X

I had him checked for this and they had no concerns, but his does click when he drinks and dribbles which I did mention but they dismissed it x

Did they do a proper assessment where they put a (gloved lol) finger in his mouth? If not, they didn’t assess. You can’t see a tongue tie by looking and we got mugged off by this too at first. Went private, diagnosed a severe tongue tie and fixed it straight away!! Honestly changed him, he was in agony with gas

yeah she put her finger in his mouth :( she was just like he has a good suck and that was it! But I know there’s something causing his gas we do everything else to make sure he don’t swallow air but sometimes it’s unavoidable with how he drinks! X

Is it worth getting a second opinion? If he’s clicking that’s a definite sign?

Have you looked up silent reflux too? That can cause gas x

could it be that the milk flow of bottle/breast is too fast? that was our issue with little one, we were also perscribed gaviscon for the same reason but never ended up giving it as it resolved itself after we were aware of the (too fast) flow
