Temporary Accommodation in Case of Homelessness

I hope everyone is doing well! 😊
I’m very new to this and as I saw a lot of people here post about temporary accommodation I wanted to ask - are those too in Islington?
I’ve been renting privately, but the landlord wants to increase the rent so much and as currently I’m a stay at home mom with another baby on the way, my partner and I cannot afford the current market. We spoke to Islington council and they told us we have nothing to worry about and as soon as we receive our valid section 21 notice to make an application with them - anyone had any experience with that?
Also, essentially what is the difference between the temporary and the permanent accommodation - is there a chance for a temporary one to be in Islington and actually meet your current needs? I’m just really anxious about moving away now as being pregnant and having all my social connections here just really makes me panic.

It’s highly unlikely that the temp accom with be in Islington, they can literally put you anywhere that there is a property available. I’ve had 1 in Brent, 1 in Dartford and 1 in Hemel Hempstead. X
