So I have battled with aniexty and depression for years and the past 5 years it has been really horrific however since being pregnant I have had only a few moments of aniexty . No serious attacks thank God but I was being treated with medication now iam pregnant I am unable to take what I was on . But there are options out there you just have to really look at every single options befor taking the medication my Dr told me that I was not allowed anything until my second trimester for the sake of the baby. But so far I haven't needed anything im 20 weeks now . You can do this but talk to your providers including your OB

it’s not completely terrible. It’s just my chest feels heavy and tight. I’ve had multiple panic attacks in the past before being pregnant so I’m just keeping an eye out for when I should be concerned or not.

I was diagnosed with anxiety and prescribed diazepam which was very helpful but also a free online therapy course and breathing exercises were super important and helpful aswell realised irrational ways of thinking and correcting them, don’t feel guilty, the fact that you’re already asking how to help is a step in the direction you want 💪🏻🫶🏻

So I also have anxiety but refuse to take any meds. My OB told me the way the hormones shift hits around the first few weeks and entering the third trimester you're gunna having an influx of symptoms that hit hard. Including emotions which is worse if you have anxiety.
I realized what she meant cuz I just came out of an almost week long "depression" where I was just crying all the time for no reason and having bad anxiety attacks every other day. I was actually thinking yesterday how the same thing happened around the first trimester right when she said it would. So it makes sense but it can really be rough, just keep that in mind and don't make any rash decisions. Good luck!

thank you!
