Gavascon and Carobel?

My 6 week old has been prescribed baby Gavascon for reflux/wind/gas. The gavascon can only be given 6 times a day but she’s obviously having more feeds than that.

She struggles during feeds when the milk is thinner - gulps it down, coughs and just seems very unhappy during feeds. But the Carobel doesn’t do enough for her reflux. (I think she’s got a tongue tie we are booked in to get it revised)

Can I alternate between the two?

Thanks

My wee girl was on gaviscon for 8 days and had to stop it because it was constipating her so bad.
Carobel hasn’t really helped much but the thicker it goes she seems to keep it down a bit better. Although she gets annoyed because it is too thick lol.
It’s a no win situation! X
