Has anyone been to Hello Gorgeous studios?

Hey! This might be a long one but will let you know our experience
I went there with the same bump to birth package from wowcher but honestly as lovely as the shoot itself was their organisation wasnt the best - had to reschedule my viewing appointment twice as they were running hours behind and I had midwife appointments to make
Their prices for any additional photos are extortionate and they sort of pressure you into buying them (or maybe I just felt pressired as I was already heavily pregnant) I did end up buying their lowest digital package and I think I have a picture of their prices which I will find for you x
We didn’t end up going back for the second shoot as I didn’t like the way they handled themselves

I've got a voucher from wowcher, it was something like £5 and I was like wow great. We went there I had my make up done and everything. We did the photoshoot, we had fun and then in the end you sit in a room and choose out of 80ish photos. It's expensive... we spent a lot of money. And on the voucher it said 50% off on the second one (ours was bump to baby) but there wasn't anything like that, we actually spent more on the second one. The first one was something like £400 for 10 photos and the second time it was something like £500 for 10 or 12 photos I can't remember exactly. But I do remember we spent almost £1000 in total. I've never been to a photoshoot before and I had no idea it's so expensive. Or is it just them I don't know..

Basically everything they said was my experience

I do want to add the photos were lovely !! But I just personally don’t think it’s worth it unless you know you can decide on just the one free print that is included or be strict with your budget (which I wasn’t haha)
I do know of a few other companies that do photoshoots at more reasonable prices if anyone did want some other options xx

So firstly Max Spielmann (they have a store inside Asda beddington lane or other line stores if you drive or can travel) I have not been to a shoot here yet but they essentially do quite basic and affordable shoots & they also have an online voucher to get 4 free shoots in the first year of baby’s life!
The second one is Fergus Ford - we used them in a baby sensory class and they were quite affordable I think 30-40 for three lovely prints of baby but I have just seen on their website that private bookings seem to cost a lot more so maybe just have a look on their website and evaluate if it’s worth it for you xx
