Well it doesn’t matter how we feel. It’s your kid and if you’re uncomfortable you need to tell him that. Since she’s 3 and it was on the back I wouldn’t mind it but again, not my kid.

I put one on my 2 month old babies face when he had a zit and it didn’t hurt him at all you just have to make sure the type you buy is for sensitive skin.

😒he’s just being petty, shouldn’t though when it comes to kids

I guess I'd just want to know the brand to make sure the ingredients are safe! Like if she had a bad one that was irritating her when clothes rubbed, then I'd understand him doing that and honestly that level of care is kinda impressive for a dad. Most wouldn't take that step to try and help the kid. Any kind of hygeine/selfcare is typically not a dads best skill.

he just doesnt like pimples on our daughters, but its not even bad! she gets them bc we have to put so much aquaphor on her back due to her scratching her skin so much bc of exzcema

Oof... he is definitely being antagonistic. 😳 sorry you have to deal with all that! Not sure if you've tried this... but an oatmeal bath and aveeno baby eczema nighttime balm is AMAZING for eczema and shouldnt cause clogged pores like aquafor. I had to use it on my daughter for bad eczema and it cleared it all up in like 3 days putting it on morning and night. Also, you can try changing the soap you use as it may be drying out or irritating her skin more. Or just dont use soap in every bath unless she got really dirty like pool water or playing in the mud or something. I stopped bathing my kids every day which has honestly helped a lot too, but when I did bathe her every day, I'd only use soap like twice a week because it dried out her skin and hair too much. Just wipe skin clean with wipes before bed if you skip a bath and obviously wash hands frequently.

oh trust me. he's like this all the time.. i tried oatmeal bath and averno baby eczema nighttime balm and it doesn't work for her, it actually burns her affected areas hence the aquaphor :/ i used to not bathe them everyday bc i couldn't, but now i do, he attacks me for not bathing them every day.

omg that's so hard. Definitely a good idea to use that app you mentioned. Sounds like a great tool!

And thats so hard! 😥 Have you seen a dermatologist? Eczema is so crazy because it seems to respond differently in different kiddos. Like we had a prescription eczema cream and it did NOTHING, but the aveeno was like a miracle. Also has she been tested for allergies? I've heard some kids get bad eczema from being allergic to certain foods, it just flares up the eczema instead of having a normal food allergy reaction. In our case, it's just really dry in the winter here so that seemed to be the cause rather than a medical condition.

I feel like it's a little intense for someone so young

If you're uncomfortable with it, then it should be discussed and mediated immediately. With that being said, pimple patches aren't typically mediated and are essentially hydrocolloid bandages.
