Does my baby have red hair?
My newborn has brown hair on the top but the hair at the back is really thick and has a slight red tint to it when the sun shines.
My first born went through an orange stage then he went blonde, still blonde now at 2. I’m blonde and their dad is brown.
My MIL makes comments every time we see her and is the first thing she says that she is ginger and has red hair, just wondered what everyone else thinks? Obviously I don’t mind if she is just curious.

My 2 month old has the same thing going on with her hair it's dark all over and thick at the back but in the light looks strawberry blonde/ginger and baby hair changes can change colour as they you grow up I had really blonde hair when I got hair then in time it turned dark brown
Might be strawberry blonde, my boy is similar. If she was ginger she would have been obviously so from birth. I’m a redhead and I was almost carrot coloured as a baby but got darker as I’ve got older x
Looks strawberry blonde to me! With a slight auburn tint maybe xx
