Looking for a beaker to help wean from a bottle teat to a beaker for all drinks. My LO spits his milk all over himself if it’s not from a teat. I think he likes the teat for comfort, but he’s 18 months now and I know they’re not supposed to use them at that age

My daughter uses the tumtum straw cups and loves them, caught onto using a straw straight away at 6 months. We also have the tumtum open cup which comes with a straw and lid too so it can adapt and they can learn from straw to open cup. For oral development, if you’re getting a straw cup, it’s recommended the straw doesn’t have a valve. It’s also recommended you get a weighted straw cup as this teaches them to tip up the cup rather than just keep it flat. I believe there are cheaper alternatives but not sure what brands they are. You can also cut the valve out of other straws if need be.
My daughter did have a tommee tippee transition cup which had two different teat options, one was like a bottle teat and then you could change it to a sippy cup teat to get them used to it more slowly. She didn’t really use this to be honest so not sure how well it works but seems like it may be a good starter for your boy as he likes the teat x
