I had some of those. Talk to your OB or provider about the heartburn. I got Nexoum prescribed for it and it was great. Loss of appetite comes with your stomach being squished by baby, try several small meals or snacks throughout the day. Nausea vomitting, same thing, smaller meals can help and talk to your provider, I was given diclectin again in 3rd trimester for it. Insomnia and brain fog, I don't have any tips for those really, just sleep when you can, even if it's a daytime nap

I take Rennie and it works for now, Gaviscon stopped working for me a while ago so I'll see how long this lasts π Glad the loss of appetite is normal because i was worried about baby. The thing with the insomnia- i fall asleep and have such a deep sleep for one hour and wake up, fall back asleep the same thing and i'm just tired alllllll day π

@Zuzia I was the same, I don't miss that. If you don't have a pregnancy pillow, I did find it helped A LOT. I'm normally a stomach sleeper, so once my belly started growing, I had such trouble with sleep. For me when the heartburn was at its worst, Nexium and Tums were my best friends. Nexium helps prevent the buildup of excess stomach acid and Tums to calm it when it flared. I never had heartburn befofe pregnancy, and when I first got it I was actually at work (I work in an ED) so I registered and knew if the docs I work with gave me melox, which is a liquid that's over the counter that also works well, and pepcid. My OB gave me Nexium instead of pepcid because Nexium is stronger.

I have a pregnancy pillow but it dosent seem to help i always wake up on my back π hopefully nothing gets worse and it flys by quickly π€πΌ

The time will both fly and drag, honestly. I'm less than 2 weeks postpartum and it felt like the time flew by, but at the time it felt like it was forever

I avoid spicy in general during pregnancy and don't eat a lot anyway because of nausea but the heartburn seems to come even when i drink water π€·πΌββοΈ it's a nightmare
