Hey guys, this may be a silly question but just wanted to get some opinions. I’m 32 weeks pregnant and my ankles have been swelling more every day. I manage a pizza place and I’m trying to keep working for absolutely as long as I can before baby comes. But I’m on my feet all day, and I’m just wondering if that’s a bad thing? Like am I damaging myself by continuing to work/stand with swollen feet? It doesn’t hurt or anything, but I don’t want to mess myself up. What do you guys think?

Have you tried wearing compression socks? I wish I knew about that when I was pregnant with my first as I was pretty swollen 😅 I’m now pregnant with baby #2 and I’m 18 weeks due in December . I’m not there yet but eventually will. I plan to wear compression socks to help with the swelling in my legs/ankles. I’m currently working and also on my feet all day. Planning to work until I can no longer work. Have you spoke to your doctor and see what he/she say about it?

I will definitely look into compression socks!! I haven’t yet talked to the doctor but I have my next appointment Monday so I’ll ask about it then. Thank you and congrats on #2 😍

you’re welcome & thank you!

I would definitely ask your dr about it. Yes some swelling is normal but I started swelling at the end and ended up with pp preeclampsia. I didn’t have any other symptoms but my ankles and feet swelling.
