Going from bottle to cup
Hey everyone
Looking for tips to get my 17 month to transition from having milk in a bottle to a cup
He’s still having milk morning and night in a bottle but wanting to transition to a cup in the morning to start with I’ve tried a couple of times and he just screams and gets really upset he is really attached to his bottles bless him but want to try and transition him as soon as possible if I can

Does your little one have water in a cup? My son started off by using the tum tum cups for water but would refuse any cup for his milk until he turned 15 months. I’m using the tum tums for his water throughout the day and the munchkin tip and sip cups for milk - he has 2 each day
Yes he will happily have water out a cup just when it comes to milk I think it’s a comfort thing
my son was exactly the same at 12 months, would drink water perfectly fine out of a cup but would refuse with milk. I think your son will drop it when he’s ready; just try to encourage him to try a cup with milk every so often and he will eventually realise that he can use it for milk too! It’s the unknown that babies and toddlers don’t like but once they’re used to the idea it’s fine x
