My lg has always been uninterested in milk, but now I can just about get her to drink 4oz and only 4bottles a day. She only had two meals a day because milk is more important but I’m so stuck on how to get her to drink more 🤦🏼♀️ any one else going through this or has any advice?

Annoyingly this is my little one. She had terrible bottle aversion at 3/4 months old and just hasn’t been a lover of milk since then. Since weaning she is just so uninterested in milk and it’s rapidly dropping. I’ve tried changing milk times, changing portion, milk first, milk after etc and it always results in the same amount a day. She will hold out for food because she just loves it. We’re on 3 meals a day and we get about 16-18oz in her a day ontop of this across 4 bottles. Of which one is a dream feed 😑. She’d happily go without that one but I’m not dropping is as worried re intake.
I spoke to HV and they said it’s a good sign she loves food, and it’s fine as long as we ensure she gets a good varied diet. Lots of fresh fruit and veg, meat and then loads of full fat dairy like yoghurts, milk in cooking, cheese etc. I said I’d read online about restricting food if milk intake is low and they said absolutely not, we want to encourage a good health food diet and appetite

As soon as my little girl started weaning she didnt want the milk. Shes now on 3 meals a day and its a struggle with the milk today she had 5oz at 4am, 5oz at 4pm and 6oz for bed at 7:15. She literally wont drink anymore 🤷🏼♀️ shes under the gp for a milk allergy and the gp wasnt concerned about her dropping bottles and just wanting food instead. You can buy a mutli vitamin for baby and just make sure they have dairy in their meals through cheese and yoghurt etc but if they wont drink it theres not alot you can do my little one literally cries and pushes the bottle away

Thank you both for replying! I might see if the extra meal helps then. She loves food! Just hates milk 🤣 she always has a healthy mixed diet and I’m getting her weighed Wednesday so as long as that is still good I’ll carry on as we are x
