GBS & Birth Centre
Hello, does anyone know, can I use the birth centre and have a water birth if I have GBS so need antibiotics through a cannula drip? Thanks!

Yes they give the drip every 4 hours and it takes around 20ish mins to finish the bag of antibiotics. Most of the time you won’t have the drip attached to you but when it is it can be placed next to the pool. You’re defo able to use birth centre and pool ☺️ you can always double check with your midwife to be sure x
