I’m almost a year post partum and I’ve never hated my body so much. I was already a big girl before but now it’s gotten so much worse. We went on a family day out with my boy today and when I looked back on the photos I wanted to cry!! Because that isn’t what I see when I look in the mirror. I’m big but I always think I don’t look too bad until I see photos and I can see everything in HD😭😭😭😭
I want to improve my fitness for my son anyway as I want to be the best mum and be able to run around with him when he walks.
What kind of diets is there to try?? I don’t want slimming world as I struggle sticking to it even tho it works, I know there’s so many different diets that maybe I haven’t tried?? Any tips I’m literally desperate (I’ve been referred for help through docs but there’s a huge wait)!!!

Following, I feel so massive and it’s severely affected my confidence! I’m on my second child and even bigger than I was after having my first 😭
honestly there is nothing worse when you lose your self confidence 😩😩!! Feel like it makes you feel even worse as a parent tho cos I have mum guilt 💔💔x

I bet you are beautiful and the fact that you want to better yourself for your son melts my heart 🤍 I wouldn’t try any ‘diet’ as such lovely.
The best way to lose weight is calorie deficit and excersise if you type in on google James Smith Macro Calculator and enter all your details in there it will work out how many calories to eat to lose weight as it will also ask how active you are, in order to do this you’ll need to track calories in things, my fitness pal can help with logging this for you.
It is a slow process but the only one that will help you with consistent weight loss till you’re happy with where you’re at. I’d say best way is to try and eat healthy at least 80% of the time you can always have chocolate and things as a treat as you’ll end up binging if not but stick to the calories.
I hope this helps if you need anything drop me a message 🤍🤍
this actually almost made me cry, thank you so much lovely 🥹🥹 I know calorie counting is probably the best way as you can fit those sweet treats in with moderation. Feel like my head spun today and I just need to get my head in the game!! It’s more for my boy than me because it’s so upsetting to think his mummy might get out of breath or won’t be able to ride on roller coasters with him 💔 but actually seeing the photos and my size made me realise it’s now or never as it will only get worse!! I will look into the calculator as I’ve never heard of it before. Thank you so much again 🙏🏼 xxx

Aww bless you if you need any support at all drop me a message I’m not a qualified professional but I have done a lot of research on nutrition and excersise when I felt the same a few years back 🤍
The fact that your head is in this space makes me 100% believe you will get to where you want to be. Please don’t forget you have been adjusting to baby life for the last year so don’t be too hard on yourself you will get there!
Just a tip, the more protein you have in your diet will help make you fuller for longer too as well as building muscle so chicken, eggs etc xxx
