Baby been crying and will not be put down for 4 hours now but she’s sweating so badly as I’m really hot my house is boiling I don’t know what to do it’s like it’s more harm holding her as she’s wet with sweat from my body heat as I’m so hot
Worried she’s going to overheat

Stupid question have you tried sitting outside with her? My little one was like this yday and i sat outside til she cooled down, i was holding her to soothe her at 1st, then lay her on my legs whilst i talked to her and stroked her then when we came in she was fine (obviously opened windows to cool house down too).
It is scary though as you dont know what to do for the best. Xx
yeah I’ve tried everything literally everything even bath bouncer pram nothings working she just won’t stop crying even my boob won’t stop her she keeps bouncing on and off she’s so hard to hold as she’s arching her back and bobbing her head all around it’s just feeling impossible as soon as she is asleep she hits the bed she wakes instantlyx

Sounds like she's got trapped wind or possibly going through a leap. To know if it's a leap download wonderweeks (it's not perfect but gives a good indication) was quite accurate with my firstborn.
But regarding the heat, could you get in the shower with her? Just hold her under a lukewarm shower (38°C). Once she's calm, move to the coolest room in the house and sleep in that room.

My baby has been like this the past few weeks. I was recommended to use a damp muslin cloth so atleast if your baby needs a feed and wants to be held that you have a cool barrier between you. I find atm we have to put my baby in a carrier in the day to nap a lot as he hates being put down and can’t always sit there doing contact naps and especially good for when they are not happy and throwing themselves back! Hope you are ok I know exactly how you feel and how hard it is♥️

Do you have a loft/attic? If you open the loft hatch door at night time, the heat will rise to the top and will make the house soo much cooler. Try it! Keep the bedroom door open.
If she's arching her back she might be in discomfort.. my baby does that sometimes and I do bicycle legs etc on him for ages and he ends up pooping so much.
Don't be afraid to strip her down if it's too hot at night. I hope you're okay xx
