My health advisor has advised Infacol for my son’s reflux but after a quick google, I’ve read that Infacol can make reflux worse. Can anyone share their experience with Infacol and reflux please?

Honestly it didn’t work for me, and I did slightly feel like it made it worse. Nothing really helped other than my baby just growing out of it I guess. Oh I also changed my bottle from Mam to Nuk and that helped a lot

I use Colief drops and they seem to work better than Infacol did! My little girl also hasn’t been constipated since using Colief where as with Infacol she was constipated a lot

Didnt work for us and I read afterwards that because imfacol is orange flavour it can be acidic and make the reflux worse. Only thing that worked for us was omeprazole after trying gaviscon which make her constipated. Infacol is more for trapped gas than reflux

My 4weeks old son is currently experiencing reflux symptoms and we are using infacol it doesn’t seem to be doing that much either. We are also using mam bottles and comfort milk as per HV advice as the milk is thicker in consistency. I’m rethinking using infacol as well. Has anyone tried detinox colic drops? Are they any good?

It worked for us

Infacol made my son really sicky. We used dentinox colic drops instead and they helped loads. Just added drops to his bottles x

I see some people saying it worked and it didn't for my son personally, but it also didn't make it worse, just no effect at all. The only thing that ended up helping my son was growing out of it and being able to eat solid food, so at about four months my ped told me to start trying and the more he ate real food, the less issue he had keeping everything down and by six months I barely ever noticed any reflux symptoms. But that's also the only thing that worked for his father as a child was them thickening formula with rice milk because they still suggested that 23 years ago, don't recommend it now

My nephew had reflux and my sis used Infacol on him and he was fine with it made his better

Infacol worked for us!
