That sounds like eczema. Try hydrocortisone on the patches. If they are itchy and dry that's usually eczema. If your face is just dry you need cerimides and hyaluronic acid. I like cocokind cerimide serum. It's affordable.

Is there mould in the house? Or did you clean something mouldy?

First thing I’d do is book an appointment with an allergy specialist and get tests done (our bodies change). It could be something you ate or are eating.
My face gets really dry now that I live in an oilfield town and the water here is really hard. I buy DermaE hydration and it’s been so helpful. It’s gentle and doesn’t have any harsh ingredients. I purchased mine from Natural Grocers, but I looked it up and you can buy on Amazon. You could also just try coconut oil (though it’s oily)—I wouldn’t do that unless you plan on staying home. But coconut oil works as a microbial so if you’re dealing with some type of infection or fungus then this would be more beneficial. I would not add tea tree oil, because the face is sensitive and that could make it burn or irritate your rash more.
