Moro reflex/Jump scare/ Spasm
Hi all
Is there anyone having baby with Moro reflex? Jump scare? Or spasm?
They are all different things, but not sure of what my baby is having.
He’s 7 weeks old
Since last night, he was in his crib, and suddenly woke up scared moving arms and legs, and this happened more than one time in a few minutes while he was trying to sleep.
I know Moro reflex happens while you put him down, not sure while sleeping?

I'm not 100% sure if this is what's happening here but I know babies don't have the thing that adults have that stop us from jerking around and making sounds when we sleep/dream. That's why they grunt and make sounds in their sleep, and I believe why you're supposed to swaddle newborns - to stop them from waking themselves up when their limbs flail around in their sleep.

Yes! Just his reflex! We still have to swaddle at night or ours will startle himself awake constantly lol 🤦🏼♀️
Looks like reflex but also maybe a bit of wind? With the legs kicking about mine does that when he’s got a bit of wind after I lye him down
