Hi all, found out on Monday I have an anterior placenta! I am 21+3 on my first pregnancy. Can anyone give me any insight as to when I might start to feel the baby kick from their own experience?
Thank you

I have an anterior placenta also and have only just started to feel movement at 23 weeks. There’s no real pattern to it yet. I’ve read a couple threads on here that say they didn’t feel anything until 28+ xx
Oh god wow 28+ weeks 🥵🥵🥵

I have an anterior placenta and felt baby properly from around 20 weeks. Bearing in mind this is my third and the more babies you have the sooner you can apparently feel them. One piece of advice, don't go wasting money on 4d photos 😆 couldn't see anything as our wee one was right behind the placenta. I'm now 34 weeks and feel everything it's certainly not cushioning the blows 😆 . X
thanks so much for the advise re 4d scan as I was thinking of having one x

I’m 23+3 and felt my baby first at 22 weeks, but am now feeling him kick at least a couple of times a day. It’s definitely not all day, and my OB warned me that I likely won’t be able to do kick counts or anything, but at least I can feel him from time to time daily!

I’ve got an anterior placenta and started feeling proper kicks around 22 weeks I think ☺️ I’ve had 2 4d scans and had lovely, clear images 🥰

AP also, I felt small flutters at 19 weeks. Been feeling solid kicks since 22 weeks. Now 24 weeks and feel her move around and kick. Mostly when sitting or lying down, never when standing. She kicks quite low. Generally I can push around my Belly to wake her up a little and she will give a kick.
My sister had AP and didn't feel movement her whole pregnancy

I have an anterior placenta as well but have felt movement since about 18 weeks, saw her kick for the first time Tuesday, 20+1.

I have an anterior placenta but I started feeling baby flutter at 11 weeks so I don’t really understand 😂🤷🏻♀️ all on my sides though x

I started feeling and seeing proper movements at 22 weeks. I’m now 32 weeks and I feel like I have an alien moving around inside me kicking me 🤣🤣 x

I felt after 20 weeks somewhere I hated it tbh. I’d feel around my belly eventually I started freezing what I thought was baby. I poked one time and the baby moved rapidly like I woke him up or scared him 😂 for a long time that was the only way I knew he was okay by poking him and probably annoying him lol
