Struggling to cope with Morning Sickness with a 1 year Old

Feeling exactly the same! It seems so much harder the second time around! X

I feel the same! Went my doctors for anti sickness tablets last week picked them from the pharmacy and it turns out I can’t even have them because I’m allergic to a lot of anti sickness tablets😭 I’ve not had chance to go back because my little boy had his 1 year jabs and he’s really struggling with them. I’ve gotten to the point I can’t even keep water down or my medication for my health problems

Aww no they gave me metoclopramide 3 times a day. They slightly work but they aren’t great.
I was at that stage of not keeping water down, really don’t want to end up in hospital as that would be so much faff for hubby and lg.

I’m allergic to cyclizine but they don’t know which part of it I’m allergic too so I can’t take most of the tablets they give😭 I had some with my little boy that I could have but I have no idea of the name and even though I told my doctor I want them again they prescribed me something completely differnt and it’s only when I asked the pharmacist if I could take them that they said no it’s highly likely I’d react to them😭 so gotta wait till Monday and try get another appointment… I have an autoimmune disease and fibromyalgia and the tablets I take for them I can’t take pregnant so I’ve literally gone cold turkey and it’s been awful

oh no going cold turkey must be awful especially on top of the sickness

I’m struggling too with terrible nausea all day and night 😭 trying to remind myself it passes. I also have an almost 2 year old and can barely stand to be with him. This is tough! I know it’ll look different in a couple of months time though…

I’m exactly the same, on anti sickness which sometimes work and have stopped me being sick so much and can eat and drink now but they make me so drowsy and exhausted. I managed with my first pregnancy and now feel a complete failure and lazy but I just can’t bring myself to do anything. I don’t know if I should come off the drugs but then I’ll be constantly sick, can’t win and praying it’s only a phase.

what ones are you on? I feel the same just so drowsy and down too. Feel like I can’t do anything with my little one and just useless but also very disoriented.

I feel down with it too 😢 I know it’s a hormonal thing though as I didn’t feel like down at all before being pregnant

@jade I’m on Xonea, but I think cause they’re all antihistamines any sickness meds make you drowsy. It really takes the joy out of telling people you’re pregnant!
