Tommee tippee advanced colic

I have been using the free mam bottles for my baby and feel like they are masking him more windy. I am moving onto these, how are people finding them? Also can I steam sterilise them or do they have to be done in the microwave?

I used these with my first and found them to leak as i would not assemble them perfectly so many small fiddly parts to them. Sterilised in a steam steriliser. But my boy almost never had colic so i guess they worked.

I agree so my little boy was on mam and I found they made he’s colic worse I then put him on these Tommie tippee ones and they leaked like mad I now put him on dr brown and there amazing

yeah I do think they are more fiddly. But I’m hoping they work x

did these help the colic though? Yeah I heard dr brown are good

Yes helped my little boy so much with he’s colic

We only use these now and they’ve helped loads there are more parts to them but tbh it’s really not that inconvenient just a few extra bits to wash. Not sure about steam sterilising as we have UV

oh that’s good so you only swapped to the dr brown because the Tommee tippee ones leaked and not cos they didn’t work?

Avatar

amazing thank you glad they help you! What ones did you use before these?

Avatar

We used the normal Tommee tippee ones, mam and lasinoh but our son preferred the Tommee tippee we then tried the normal anti colic ones which did work and then my parents got us the advanced ones which were even better so we have stuck with those now

Avatar

thank you, did they help with colic did you find?

Avatar

For us they definitely have helped a bit but we are also waiting for a tongue tie assessment which can contribute to the colic so at the moment it’s infacol and those bottles and he seems to be settling better and a lot more comfortable

amazing thank you! Hope all goes well with the tongue tie person, my little one had a tongue tie also d

Help

My newborn won’t settle unless she’s in my arms and I need sleep. I’m on the verge of passing out constantly and have started hallucinating. Any advice is helpful

Swaddle Vs sleeping suit.

Which one seems to work better for your baby? I am ftm, with a 4week old, I am not entirely sure what is the best option to get him to sleep restfully for a few hours between feeds.

Sickness

Hello, I don’t know if anyone could help or if they have had the same issues with their little one. My son keeps being sick but it’s like bile we took him to A&E last night and they said we have been over feeding him but he’s been perfectly fine didn’t know if any other mums have experienced the same thing?

Hates nappy Change

Hi Mamas,

My baby boy is 8 weeks today and has never liked his nappy being changed. He hates clothing changes and having a bath.

He screams his little lungs out during bath time and yes bath temp is perfect. Tired bathing him with me and still does like it. We’ve even brought 3 different baby baths.

Any other babies like this, any tips, fo they get better with age?

Rolling in the night 🤦‍♀️

My 20 week old has just learnt to roll back to front and can sometimes do front to back but not confidently.

However, he spends MOST of the night practising rolling and it is constantly waking him and obviously us up!! I know once he can get himself back on his back I can just leave him but at the minute he’s just rolling and getting stuck. And I mean ALL. NIGHT.

Has anyone else’s done or doing this? How long did it last? He’s obviously just dead excited about his new skill but 🤦‍♀️ this on top of the regression is not fun.

Falling over

My 10 month old is super risky and is currently learning to walk. She takes very silly chances often and sometimes I can’t be there to catch her as I’m also running after my very needy 3 year old. She falls often and we have hard floors, and I’m not sure what to do.

Are you also having many head bonks? Or not so much? Any ideas on what I can do to help it? I can’t sit behind her all day like I did with my first 🫣 I also can’t lay protective flooring across the house, as it’s a large area and she travels all of it (kitchen, wash up, bathrooms, passage, etc).
