Not drinking anything

I’m really struggling to drink anything. I’m nauseas but haven’t been sick, I feel so thirsty all the time but just can’t stomach anything to drink. Before pregnancy I’d make sure I drank my 3l of water, ate well and exercised. Since 6 weeks pregnant I eat nothing but ginger biscuits and ready salted crisps, can’t face any exercise not even a walk and can’t drink anything, I’ve tried water, lemon water, ice tea, squash, milk, safe herbal teas, flavoured water and even fizzy pop but I can’t stomach anything. I’m now really constipated too! Anyone any suggestions on what might quench my thirst and might help me to drink more? Second time pregnant and did not have these issues at all first time round.

Really iced cold water is the only thing I can drink!

Sparkling water with ice and squash with a straw is my current go to 😂 everything has to be ice cold lately… even my coffee has become an iced coffee lol. good luck xx

Ask your doctor for Docusate or similar for the constipation. I ended up with a prolapse due to my early pregnancy constipation and wish I’d sorted myself out sooner.

I highly recommend drinking squash or iced water as this is all I could keep down for 30 weeks. Cordial was the best for me as it was a bit thicker xx

Also glad to see the ice cold thing is common. In my last pregnancy my husband nearly ordered an ice machine 😂 let’s see if he offers this time

Yes ice cold water and nothing acidic as that will make nausea worse x
