I did it morning of finding out gender. Said I was having a girl. And at scan, told it was a boy

I tried an old wives tale that had some science behind it and am currently pregnant with a girl on the first attempt. It stated to have intercourse 2 days prior to your ovulation day. The male sperm cannot live as long as female so once egg comes along you’ll have more female sperm present. But you can’t have sex sooner to ovulation.

No doesn’t work. In theory I should have had a girl but it was a boy I’m so thankful for him. In my opinion if you don’t want to take the risk of having another boy. Don’t have another baby

Maybe @Kirsten is onto something. I had sex 5 days prior to my ovulation, and I have a girl. Maybe it is a coincidence, maybe not. For me, she is a miracle. I didn't plan to have her.
