My boyfriend has been real short with me the past few days and snappy with me. I went through his phone and saw a girls name changed from Alex to Steven on snap chat and when asked about it he said he didn’t change her name and when they talked it wasn’t even like that and I left it alone. The next day he deleted snap and I asked him why because it just seemed odd and he said it was because clearly it was causing us issues and when I was explaining to him why I thought it was odd he said I was being combative and just arguing and not even trying to understand him even though I was asking him questions too to try to understand him. And ever since then he’s been really short and distant with me and snappy over little unimportant things. Should I say something or just leave it be?

what should I do though?

I mean I messaged the girl but no response from her at all… so idk how I’m supposed to check for myself..

I’ll try to but he only had her on snap and he deleted it

I wouldn't even do all that. Dont chase her down or bait them. Right now you need to start deciding in your head that if he is doing something wrong what you're gonna do. Do you rely on him? right now's a good time to not even worry about him being snappy, redirect your own energy into getting yourself ready for what may be coming. Find supportive friends and family who can also see you aren't being problematic, dont let him manipulate the situation.

Navigating this situation sounds tough, but it’s important to address it. Try having a calm, open conversation where you express how his recent behavior and the changes on his social media make you feel, using "I" statements to avoid confrontation. If communication remains difficult, consider couples counseling to help both of you express your feelings and work through issues in a neutral setting. You deserve to feel secure and valued in your relationship, and if these efforts don’t lead to improvement, it might be necessary to reevaluate your situation.

The wrong thing to do is to continue going through his phone it’s gone cause more harm then good. Focus on you and don’t take it personal. I know it hurts and it’s tuff but trust those instincts and listen to that gut feeling and intuition.

Thank yall I really appreciate all y’all’s advice
