Does anyone else’s baby fight sleep so bad in the day? He used to just fall asleep after his milk but now he falls asleep and is awake 10 mins then crying because he’s tired but can’t get back to sleep. If he’s up playing and he’s starting to look tired staring, rubbing eyes, yawning, I try and put him down or rock him but he fights it so bad and if I leave him longer he’s then hysterically screaming because he’s overtired! Yesterday he was inconsolable for about 2 hours but his eyes were literally shut but just could not get him to sleep! Eventually fell asleep on me and then was asleep for 3 hours because he’d not slept all morning from 9am-1pm!
Could he be teething? It’s also harder to get him to sleep at night now too, before he used to fall asleep fine. Once he’s asleep though he’s asleep till 5.30am it’s just getting him to sleep

My little girl is doing the EXACT SAME THING. She will be 12 weeks on Tuesday. The last 2 days she's been a nightmare with sleep and naps. Normally naps for a good 1hr30/2hrs at a time an she normally has last bottle at 8pm and sleeps round till 4am no issues. The last 2 nights however, she's been up every 2hrs being cranky and taking her about 30/45 mins to get back to sleep. And her naps, she's waking herself up every 20 mins wriggling etc.
Think this might be the early start of the 4 month sleep regression 😫

My boy is 11 weeks today and the same is happening, he just wont sleep during the day so in order to get stuff done dancing fruits is on for him 😂 He is definitely at the early stages of teething so we’ve had to give him calpol the last 2 nights which has helped his sleep massively only waking up once for a feed but during the day he will only sleep if he’s on me🥺

They go through a growth spurt at 12 weeks. My baby refuses to sleep during the day because she just wants to look at everything and seems to suffer major FOMO!!!! But then sleeps like a log from 8pm just getting a dream feed at 12am then through till 7am

We’re going through the same thing. Baby boy (12 weeks) won’t nap during the day unless it’s in our arms (can nap for hours if it’s like this!). If we try put him down in his basket he will wake up after 15 mins, either by himself or by startle reflex. In the evenings, he is up around 12am, 4am & then 6am for the cycle to start all over 😩

My 12 week old has been the same the past few days

My baby was being a little restless through the day they key for me was giving her a bath inthe morning and night she slept 6hours in one nap through the day when I tried it. And she sleeps well through the night. So try giving baby a bath inthe morning feed and then put to bed and see

try giving baby a bath inthe morning

My baby is 12 weeks tomorrow and has never just drifted off to sleep in the day, we really have to work to get her to sleep. She loves sleeping in the carrier, on me or being rocked/bounced on the pregnancy ball. She sleeps pretty well at night (touch wood!!!) but really refuses the day time naps and gets so aggy for it! My HV suggested she just doesn't want to miss out as she's always been very alert 🥹
