39 Weeks Pregnant and No Signs of Labor – Is This Normal?

Completely normal I’m 39- and same. Cervical checks are 0 cm dilated

I'm assuming this is your first? I was the same with my first and, not to scare you, I went to 40+5 with him. It's normal. You may have zero signs until you go into labor, there's no telling.

Same! 39-1. I've had some Braxton Hicks, but was 0 cm on Monday.

I was 38 and 4 days no signs of labor and then my water just broke and I had baby 5 hours later

Same and had the same with my first. With my first I ended up being induced at 41 and 1

This is very normal. Due dates are just estimations. Babies can come up to 2 weeks late..

My first came at 42 weeks I had absolutely no symptoms leading up to birth. I thought I never had any Braxton hicks until after labor I realized I had been having them. Labor with my first started at 8:30pm with a just a contraction but again nothing prior letting me know that would be the day.
With my 2nd I had no signs at all labor was starting up until 3:30pm at 39+6 when my water broke.
But even after my water broke I didn't have any contractions until 8:00 when I had a few small once and that was it. Real labor didn't start until 10:00pm.

Labor literally starts when it wants you can't go off dilation or losing your mucus blood, etc. That stuff can start happening weeks before labor actually starts. So don't feel discouraged I felt like nothing was happening right up until labor started each time.
Good thing to keep in mind if this is your first....firstime moms usually go into labor naturally between 40+2 - 41+3 weeks
