Baby girl has been started on Aptamil pepti 1 due to a suspected milk allergy but it’s like water and makes her reflux worse! I am going to try carobel but not sure how much to use for 4oz… does anyone use this? She was on a 0 teat without the carobel and it was way too fast so thinking a 1 teat with half a scoop of carobel possibly? Also has anyone got good experiences with this milk because my anxiety is through the roof in case it makes her worse 😓

Hi my lo was on carobel and think I was giving him one scoop of carobel from what I can remember. He’s off it now though it gave him really funny poos and didn’t agree with him. Double check the pack as it should have instructions on how much to use but sure I only have one x

My LO was on Alimentum for milk and soy allergy. It also helped with occasional colic

We did a few weeks on this milk and it was good but she did get a build up and we changed about just over two weeks. We did try carobel as well but it didn’t agree with her so had to come off that. We started with less than one scoop and just judged the consistency it’s a bit of trial and error really xx

Thank you ladies. I did the first bottle with just over half a scoop and it was perfect. Really hoping she does ok on it. It’s tricky as sometimes the milk changes etc seem to do more harm until you find what is right and it gives me major mam guilt! 🤞🏻 xx

It’s half a scoop for Carobel and you might want to use a fast flow. We do with our son (5 weeks & 2 days old) & did with our daughter.
