Like the name but not the meaning

My second son’s name is Desmond and the meaning is very whatever but it was hard to find a name we both liked and wasn’t connected to anyone we knew, we love his name and it suits him really well. So we also settled on a more meaningful middle name but for us it’s not as important as a good first name. But yeah both boys’ names were a process.

I didn't even look up the meaning of my first 2 until I was looking into names for my third.

I just had to Google what my daughter's name means 😅! Alice (due in October).

My son is named Gale, which I picked from Hunger Games but the meaning would be a storm, which I guess is cool but I never really think about that.

We’re finding a hard time naming our second son, due in 11 weeks 😵‍💫🫣name meanings and associations have always been important to us

Our first born son was easy coz we loved the name Atticus and the association with the justice fighting character of Atticus Finch.

We like the name Cillian but the meanings are:
Church (we’re trying to avoid religious names)
War
Strife
Bright headed

they wouldn’t put me off especially if one of them is “bright” that’s a nice meaning! Honestly, both are really strong and sound good just saying them aloud. They sound great as a pair of brothers 💙💙

I always feel for people with the name Fanny 🤭

It was important to me that my son had a strong name. So the way it sounded and what it meant were important. His name is Sebastian Keith
Sebastian - venerable or revered
Keith - from the battleground or wood

Keith is also my brother’s name.
