Egg allergy?

Gave my baby eggs two weeks ago he got some red bumps and kinda rash around his mouth, he also threw up while eating so I assumed he’s allergic.

Then I read somewhere to try touching eggs on their skin and that should cause a reaction if there allergic but got no reaction action to this.

Do I try giving eggs again? I’m scared after the first time but now I’m wondering if he actually is allergic or not

Egg allergies are one of the most common in babies. If you see a rash around the mouth and vomiting it could possibly be an early sign of an egg allergy, they usually appear minutes or hours after eating eggs. I would recommend seeing an allergist to confirm. Special blood and skin tests can be done to diagnose the cause of the allergic reaction.

they tell you to touch it to baby’s skin to see if it’s a contact rash or an actual allergy. if you touch it to their face and they get a rash it’s probably not an actual allergy but i’d try again
