37 weeks and no stretch marks. Is the best approach to do nothing?

Let me know thoughts or if people developed stretch marks after 37 weeks. Please and thank you! I’ve done nothing with moisturizing, so maybe best to keep doing nothing???

I never had any stretch marks, pregnant and post pregnancy. I still moisturised my bump as it can’t do any harm and felt nice! xx

Never did anything, didn’t get any on my first or this pregnancy xx

Apparently stretch marks are hereditary so it doesn’t matter what you use. I’ve had such bad ones from 17 weeks 😂

I used Bio-Oil with my son. I barely had any stretch marks in pregnancy but some came up after birth - I had a C section though and that stretches your skin further. They're not prominent and have faded. I've barely used a thing on my bump this pregnancy - can't be bothered 😂

I've just started getting tiger stripes / stretch marks / baby's first drawings on the underside of my bump and I'm 32 weeks today, started noticing marks week 31. It us hereditary and my sister and mum got them bad. I'm hoping mine will fade 🙏 ironically they've only appeared where I have moisturised less but it's also where baby's head is and the greatest gravitational pull - ouch

I think alot is down to genetics however I use grapesead oil, it penetrates the deepest, alot sit on the surface. I'm on baby number 9 and I don't have any either x

I wouldn't worry about it unless you get itchy.

Development of stretch marks will depend on the elasticity of the skin, moisturizing just helps with the elasticity and helps it stretch
