C section Mumma’s
I am 10.5 months pp and my scar is still red. I think I have keloid scaring too. It’s sometimes sore too. I have the doctors on Tuesday to get it checked out, but I wondered if anyone else was also suffering from your scar still being red? Thanks :)

10 months today and still red. Still hurts if kicked. And it's raised as well despite my best efforts massaging and silicone patch for the first 6 months. Have not had time to really massage since then but it really helps reduce pain and sensitivity if your baby can let you have those 5 mins per day.
I had other abdominal surgery in 2017 and you can hardly see it now but it took about 3 years to fade, 4 years to fade completely. It was also red/purple for a long time I remember although those scars are much smaller as it was 4 keyholes.
10 months for me too, the scar is still red and sore.. gets quite itchy. I've been told it's still early days and it's all normal.
