How do you know what to follow?

So I’ve been reading the Bible and I still have a long way to go but I was just wondering what rules still apply now? Obviously we don’t do the eye for an eye now. I know some things from the Old Testament still apply today but how will I know?

You’ll know by the leading of the Holy Spirit and having a good understanding of how Jesus fulfilled the law. The more you read the epistles (Romans-Jude) the more you’ll understand especially with the Book of Romans, Galatians and Colossians.
