What to wear!

I would do a baby grow and maybe a cellular blanket x

Dress her how you would dress when out. I was told by a nurse if it’s cold and you feel like you need pants and a long sleeve and a jacket then so does baby; if it’s hot/warm and you are wearing leggings and a t shirt then baby can wear the same. If baby girl is too hot or cold they will definitely fuss to let you know. Hope this helps.

General rule is 1 layer more than you unless it’s really really hot. In this weather I would do a baby grow or a dress (never really together anyway) and then take a blanket incase it’s breezy. It’s quite warm in the UK at the moment so you don’t need lots of layers

One layer more than you. So a vest and babygrow or vest and dress. Maybe tights depending on how cool it is where you are. Babygrows and vests are a lot easier than outfits at that age though! Blanket if it's cold.

I have been struggling a bit with this too, my baby was a little premature too so I was given so much information that I’m overwhelmed 🙈 I have taken a step back and am going by the feel of her. I check the back of her neck, she should be warm but not hot. If she’s cool then I add a blanket or another layer. We haven’t ventured into dresses etc yet thoughb😅 vests and baby grows all the way so far!

@Franky Do not worry! I'm 6 months in and googled 'what to dress a baby in at night' neatly every night for 5 months! It's tricky but sure she would cry and let you know if she was too cold. I use a Muslin sometimes when he naps in the pram as not too thick. My little one lived in baby grows for nearly 3 months!

that rule is good except I run hot and never have more than one layer 🤣
