My baby was in NICU and I was asked to express so the hospital provided me with a hospital breast pump. I absolutely loved the suction strength of their breast pump (Ardo Carum). I had to return it and since then I had two breast pumps and the suction strength is ridiculous and I am barely getting anything substantial for my baby (I am breastfeeding him now). Can you please recommend the most powerful breast pumps? Thanks!

Hey you can rent the hospital grade pumps. This is what I did xx

Looks like that pump has a suction strength that maxes out at 330, the Elvie Stride does 300, and the Spectra does 270. The Spectra is the most affordable of the three, but I'd definitely look into renting the one you loved.

I absolutely second what Sam is saying. I’m from the UK and I was given the Medela Symphony to use in the hospital and at home I have the Medela Freestyle Double Handsfree Electric Breast Pump - pictured above. The suction is as good as the hospital one, I only have to have it on the middle setting and I’m getting 200ml per boob per 20 minute pump session which I do every 3-5 hours. I feed LO on alternating breasts in between pumping but have a big supply so need to pump to avoid blocked milk ducts and mastitis.
Just make sure you’re measuring your nipple size pre and post pump to get an accurate reading of what flange size you need as this greatly increased my milk flow as well!
This breast pump is about £300 brand new but I got a low mileage, sterilised second hand one on eBay for £150!
Hope this helps x
