Nhs Mat pay

I work for the NHS and I’m a band 4, roughly get around £1700/1800 a month and just trying to work out a rough estimate for my maternity pay as I want to spread it over 12 months. Has anyone done this who earns roughly the same??

I’ve just submitted mine and requested that it’s spread over the time I’m off which is the 39 weeks before it goes down to zero. Although I’m a b5 but mine is working out about £1500 p/m if that’s any help x

I’m a band 4 and my wage this month on mat leave £1,300 on maternity leave I did work one week of July though x

You can ask your HR for a break down. I work for nhs and did that

I'm band 3 and spread mine out over the 9 months. It's different every month for some reason, between 1,400 and 1,600 a month. They will send you an email and post you a break down of what you will be getting each month once mat leave starts

I work for the nhs too. Can I ask why you chose to spread the pay?
