Hi ladies!
Stupid question alert, but it's the first time I am having a baby in this country (my first was born overseas) and I have started putting together my hospital bag. I will be giving birth to Victoria General and I was wondering what do they provide for the mom and new born? (E.g., diapers, postpartum pads for mom, formula if needed etc). Do they provide bottles too?
Thank you in advance.

I'm in Victoria general right now, just had my baby . They give you a squirt bottle for down there , blue clothes , diapers , swaddle blankets but they were skimpy on the blankets and pillows for my partner. My first daughter only got formula when she was in NICU and her sugars were low. Otherwise I've been breastfeeding which they encourage and even provided me a very expensive and awesome pump while I was here. I got pads and more towels in the bathroom and they give you pamphlets and a hat for your baby. The formula they give comes in a bottle and they give you extra nipples least that what I got when they had my baby in NICU. Good luck and hope your delivery goes well 🥰

congratulations!! Thank you for all the info ❤

Thank you all for the very usefull info. It seems like they provide more than I imagined. In the UK, where I gave birth before you would not get a peri bottle or baby clothing items!
