We have been met with defiance in asking people not to kiss our 3 month old baby, however I cannot find a credible source stating how long being should refrain kissing a baby for?
Can anyone send me link that states how long it should be for?
I have only seen articles talk about newborns! We have asked people to wait until he is 6 months

I've no articles to say what to and not to do...
I've just said that only immediate family can kiss her head/cheeks etc provided they are well and not unwell in anyway that could effect her.
And friends and anyone else can't kiss her at all... I think that's fair, everyone is different though 🤷🏼♀️ x

We've kept it bar head kisses and if babe tries to kiss them herself to offer their cheek instead and she's 20 months
It's down to parental preference/risk ultimately xx

my kids are 1.5 and 2.5 and i still don’t let anyone kiss them except me and their dad

The no kissing rule applies for as long as you like, other people's feelings don't come above your baby's health and your comfort. Don't let them push you into something you're not ready for.
My baby was 6 months old when I started to be a bit more relaxed with it but then as soon as someone kissed him he got Covid so keep your boundaries in place as long as you like ☺️🤍
