leila/layla is an arabic name but not a islamic name. It can mean midnight intoxication and as beautiful as the name is, it’s not recommended to use (as far as I’ve heard) 😅

I agree! I know very little about Muslim names to be honest but Imani one of THE most beautiful names ever. I am obsessed with it! If I had another daughter I’d love to call her Imani but personally wouldn’t because of cultural appropriation but I love it it’s so so gorgeous 🥰❤️
right! Its so beautiful 🥹 personally wouldn’t consider names as cultural appropriation, most common names originate from countries different to the individuals heritage 😊 Isla (ayla) also has arabic roots if i remember correctly

Leila is an ancient name, a mystical name and darkness is not always a negative thing. It is a name used by Persian poet Rumi. Please do more research.
