My girl, Smooch. 🥰💋
Last weekend I went to my first dog show, as did my girl! She took best of variety in all 4 shows over the weekend but that’s with only 4 points going toward her championship.
I would like to go somewhere with a little more competition next but it’s hard to find unless you really travel given that they’re a much more rare breed.
Also, judges at this show didn’t seem to really know the breed so they had a hard time appreciating any of them if they made it into groups. I had to remind every single judge that they are a thumb breed and I don’t show the bite for them.
Anyways, all in all it was fun. I might need to make the trip to Kalamazoo for the nationals next.

I did! Thank you! I was very underprepared for my first show and was told others would just bring their grooming tools and it wasn’t quite what I would have used. But it got the job done. I know better for next time now lol.
