My daughter was given Nutramigen from around 4 weeks old and was on this until allowed to drink the Alpro growing up soya milk. It really did help her with the allergy but the transition over can leave them a little poorly as they get used to the new milk x

i was scared of her Feel poorly cus i had changed the formula once and she had a diarrhoea. I read the reviews on Nutramigen and heard they make them spit up more and have loose poo. And my gp said its a 7 days trail for how she might react to it but i don’t want her to get changed numerous times so i haven’t introduced it yet. Have your lil one stick to Nutramigen? How long does it take to settle?

It was probably around a two week transition but there was a huge change instantly with some things - she stopped wheezing and grunting when she was trying to feed, the arching of the back stopped, she was drinking more, her rash stopped on her face whilst feeding. She was having poonami’s multiple times a day like all up her back before turning over but the Nutramigen helped hugely with everything. I would say about 1 - 2 weeks it took to settle down but very much worth persisting with it for them to be so much more comfortable xx

same i have been EBF atm been a month now and im dairy free as well so is it ok to introduce Nutramigen now? And is it ok to feed her once a day or twice ? Will that make her feel poorly?
