So i have a 14 month LG from using a donor but sadly the same donor wont donate again, ive found a new donor and did the first insemination today, although im planning it i still feel super nervous that can i actually do this, be a single mum of 2 potentially under 2! I know im just in panic mode i felt this with ny LG but feels surreal to be back doing this again, im not expecting it to work first time like it did with my LG but im really hoping to be pregnant by the end of the year at least 🤞🤞

How did you do insemination in office or yourself at home

I'm having trouble concieving naturally since my missed misscariage

I'm wondering if me and my partner did home insemination if it would work but he thinks that's weird

I did home insemination, i did a lot of research on syringes etc and found one on ebay that had amazing reviews and i thought id try it and got pregnant 1st time so i bought another for trying for a 2nd.
Some couples go to home insemination it may sound weird but sometimes can be more effective so you can just enjoy sex for sex rather putting pressure on yourselves to conceive

He thinks I'm weird for suggesting this cuz I usually get pregnant easily like our first was three months of trying then I lost the baby at six weeks then second one I lost baby at four weeks and then had our daughter and then lost a baby after her again around six weeks then I got pregnant last oct and lost the baby in February at around 13 weeks 5 days

Been trying since no luck

I feel he secretly is not caring if we do cuz he is fearful of more loss

it doesn't sound like insemination would be helpful for you, because as you say you get pregnant fairly easily, so the sperm is getting where it needs to go.
You would be better off seeking help from the recurrent miscarriage service, your GP should be able to advise how to access them. They may be able to put a plan in place to support an early pregnancy before you next try and conceive

I agree with it seems that you can get pregnant easily but certainly need to be referred to a specialist that deel with reoccurring miscarriages to see what the issue is.
Im sure youll gwt there and have another baby keep thinking positive and not put to much pressure on yourself which is easier said then done but none the less you have your LG so what ever will be and you have her no matter the outcome, thats what ive been saying to myself if it doesnt work this time around i have my LG and no matter what shell always be enough ☺️

I have been told my last misscariage happened due to triploidy which is incompatible with life they live only hrs to days it's caused by two sperm fertilizing one egg too many chromosomes the other misscariages were early and could have been from low progesterone I've been in progesterone every pregnancy since my daughter

I'm glad I have my kids but I really do want more hoping there's a rainbow someday I have two wonderful daughter 12 & 1 yr old

yes triploidy would be an unviable embryo, but insemination isn't going to help that.

im sure it will happen when you least expect, sometimes taking a break and just having that time to take a breather sometimes helps as well let you body recover, but keep thinking positive x

@Charley triploidy is not genetic I was told it's a rare fluke thing and we have a healthy child together so it's highly unlikely to happen again it's 1 in 250000 our child actually lived longer than average for this condition

I was told by a genetic counselor that I have a 1 percent chance of ever having it happen again

yes I know, that's why I'm saying insemination isn't going to change that. Insemination is only helpful when there is an issue with sperm meeting the egg. Which there isn't in your case
