Thinking About Switching OB-GYN 🥺🫤😒 Reason below ⬇️

I'm currently 21 weeks and 3 days pregnant, and I'm feeling a bit unsure about my OB-GYN office. There are 2-3 gynecologists there, and it feels like I'm being shuffled between them, which makes it hard to build a connection, especially since this is my first pregnancy and I'm considered high risk due to hypertension. I've seen one doctor twice during my first trimester, but it’s been almost two months since my last visit with her. During that appointment, we discussed my elevated creatinine and protein levels and decided to repeat the blood work along with NIPT testing. I had my blood drawn a week and a half before my next appointment with another gynecologist, where I shared my blood pressure log. She adjusted my medication but didn’t provide a new prescription, just added an additional 30MG dose to my existing one. I found her to be more relatable and informative compared to the first doctor. Recently, the first gynecologist emailed me about referring me to a nephrologist due to my still elevated creatinine levels, although they have improved since my last initial test back in May . She also mentioned my NIPT results, which I had already received all results two weeks prior to her email . When I asked her to correct my prescription to a single 90 MG dose instead of two separate pills, she said she needed another blood pressure log before she can send in the right prescription with right dosage that I’m already taken just in to separate dosage I’m taken a 60MG and 30MG to separate pills rather than 1 pill that is just 90MG. I provided the updated blood pressure log on top of sent her the last one I already gave last month at my appointment to get the prescription. Today, I got a call to schedule an appointment with a nephrologist, which is about 1.5 to 2 hours away from my home. Additionally, I was referred to a high-risk gynecologist I met last week for my anatomy scan, which thankfully showed normal results. He now wants me to undergo another creatinine and protein blood test before my next visit with a different high-risk doctor in September. Initially, he overlooked my July results and based his assessment on my May results, but after I prompted him to check again, he confirmed that everything is normal except for my creatinine levels, which have improved. I mentioned my referral to the nephrologist, and he explained that they can't do much while I'm pregnant, but it's good to be on their list for after delivery. I'm puzzled about why I received this referral now if they can't assist me during my pregnancy. I feel overwhelmed by the number of gynecologists I'm seeing, as they don't seem to be fully informed about my history, leading to confusion. It seems like there's a lack of communication among them, even though they belong to the same practice. I can see everything in my online app, so I wonder what they are missing. I think I might need to find a different OB-GYN practice with fewer doctors, as I understand I may need to see at least two due to my high-risk status from hypertension, but three -five feels excessive. I’m anxious about not knowing who will deliver my baby and the stress of being a first-time mom without building a relationship with my care provider.
