Osteopath

Has any one used an osteopath for their little ones? My son favours one side and as a result is starting to get a flat head on the side. He still sleeps 22 hours a day (he’s 8 weeks old but only 3 weeks corrected). He prefers to be in his crib for sleep, but I’ve noticed that even when we try the bouncer for a change of pace (he doesn’t like it so it lasts 10 mins) and also the car seat; he still leans over to the right including his head. He can move is head both sides so it’s a preference and I never really noticed it as my ignorance was that flat head can only occur to back of the head so I wasn’t thinking about it. I’ve now noticed and looking back; he has always favoured the right side since as long as he was in the nicu. Every picture is him on his right side. His body also curves off to the right but we were told it was newborn scrunch. He’s always so tight and rigid too. He’s always scrunched up and i feel he shouldn’t be so scrunched up now?

I took my 2yo to an osteopath when she was a baby as she had torticollis. It really helped and freed up her range of movement. We had to do a lot of tummy time and tracking toys at home to practice which you could start doing now.

We’ve been for my little girl as she was always keeping her head to the left. Had 2 sessions and now she moves her head about really well and will sleep on either side. Really recommend!
